When the auction is over the highest bidder wins the item. Before bidding, make sure to pick a reputable eBay seller with a decent feedback rating above 97%. When it comes to vintage longboards, the item description must be accurate. Make sure to contact that seller before placing a bid to square out any uncertainty you might have. Do the pictures tell all about the life of the longboard? Any delamination? Are there pressure dings or cracks? How much water damage can be expected? Is it water-logged? Any evidence of discoloration in the fiberglass? Also discuss preferred shipping methods. Is it a local pickup for all those So Cal surfers, or a worldwide shipment with a reputable shipping carrier? How much will that cost? How long will it take to receive it? What if it's damaged on delivery?
Before executing a bid you must evaluate all these criteria - a bid excludes the cost of shipping and all applicable taxes. So be careful of how much you are willing to bid on a vintage longboard.
